At Peak Pediatrics LLC we provide your child with a language rich environment that is both fun and engaging. We offer services in a variety of settings including in-home therapy, tele-therapy, daycare/schools, and community.

The process begins by:

1. Scheduling a free consultation with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who will answer any questions you may have and determine if an evaluation is necessary.

2. If an evaluation is warranted, the SLP uses a variety of formal and informal procedures to assess your child. Evaluations generally last one hour, but may take longer depending on the amount of testing that needs to be completed. After an evaluation, parents are given a thorough written report that outlines their child’s communication strengths and weaknesses. Parents are also provided with a personalized plan of care that consists of goals for therapy.

3. The duration of therapy sessions vary depending on the child’s attention span and needs. During sessions, parents are shown ways to modify their communication in order to improve and better assist their child.
